Kitty Love

I love my little Addison kitty this is true! He is just so cute! His fur is so soft and his paws are so adorable! Addison is what I like to call over loved! I think the constant hugging, snuggling and playing is honestly taking a tool on the little guy! I think it might be time for us to start thinking about a baby to spread the love around! I know Addison would be thankful for a little relief!

Play Time

Adam is totally in love with Addison. I didn't know that Adam had such a sweet spot for animals until now. Today Adam and Addison played until they were both tuckered out! Our little guy is feeling a lot better. Last weekend we took Addison down to my parent house in Medford, which is about a 5 hour drive. Needless to say Addison did not like it very much and got so worked up that he got the kitty flu. We took him to the vet and got some meds for the little guy. Now he is almost back to his frisky self.

Our new baby!

So funny, The cat adoption team took this picture of Adam and I and our new baby Addison. It was like we were bringing home a baby. As we were walking out with are new little kitty everyone stoped us to take a look at the little guy. Adam was showing him off to all of the ladies like a proud papa. I know he is just a cat, but he sure is cute!

Welcome Addison Cottam

Let me introduce you to the newest member of the Cottam A-Team, Addison the cat! After about 2 years of thinking about it we finally adopted a cute little kitty! We went to a cat shelter in the area that was having a big adoption event on Saturday. There was about 100 kittens to choose from. They were all so cute, I wanted to take 10 home! Then we finally saw this cute little guy. His three brother had already been adopted so he was all alone in his cage looking sad. Adam got him out of the cage and and they became fast friends. There was no going back at that point. CAT (Cat Adoption Team), was great. They really wanted to make sure that all of the kittens were going to good homes. We even had are own adoption counseler to help us. She interviewed us to make sure we were the right fit, and gave us lots of information on how to take care of our new little friend! We are already totally in love with Addison. He has such a cute personality. I know we are going to have a lot of fun years with this little guy! And who knows if we can take care of a cat then we just might be able to take care of a baby someday! :-)
