There she blows, Mt St Helens

There she is beautiful Mt St Helens. Sam, Jessica, Adam and I set out on Saturday to go see the blast zone from the 1980 volcanic eruption. We drove for may miles but were stoped by a road block. part of a road had been washed out and this is as close as we got. I guess we will have to come back another day!

Happy Birthday Mommy

My Moms birthday was July 6th. I love this picture of her, because she is always laughing. That is one of the things I love about my Mom, She is always laughing and making jokes of things. She taught when life gives you lemons make lemonade. There is nothing that you cant laugh about! Happy Birthday Mom.

Play Time

Adam is totally in love with Addison. I didn't know that Adam had such a sweet spot for animals until now. Today Adam and Addison played until they were both tuckered out! Our little guy is feeling a lot better. Last weekend we took Addison down to my parent house in Medford, which is about a 5 hour drive. Needless to say Addison did not like it very much and got so worked up that he got the kitty flu. We took him to the vet and got some meds for the little guy. Now he is almost back to his frisky self.

Hide & Seek

Adam and I came home one day and could not find Addison anywhere. We were starting to panic a little as to where he was. I went into the office to look around again and he popped his little head out from the shelf on my desk. He can fit into the smallest places. Lately Hide and seek is his new favorite game.

Hood to Coast 2005!

This was my team from 2005. Weekend Seizures. That is what I feel like, except its weekdays and weekend seizures. This last week I ran Everyday, and I can't remember the last time I did that! I did a short stint working at the GI Joes (Sporting good store) corporate office in 2005 and was able to run for a completely sponsored team. It was awesome, they gave us a gym bag filled with running shoes, clothes, sunglasses, watch and other goodies. This time I wont have all the perks, but I will have the biggest perk of running with my sweetie. I am really excited to be doing this with Adam! I just hope we both don't die trying! :-)

Hood to Coast

the Largest Running Relay Race in the World, and The Mother of All Relays, The Nike Hood To Coast Relay stretches 197 miles near the top of Oregon's majestic Mt. Hood down to the beautiful Pacific Ocean beach in Seaside, Oregon.

Adam and I were asked by some friends if we wanted to be on their Hood to Coast team. We are so excited to run together in this fun race. I ran the Hood to Coast back in 2005 and loved it. It was certainly one of the hardest things physically I have ever done! I am excited for the challenge, and for the motivation to run again!

Wish us luck, we are going to need it! :-)

Update on Jessica in Tiwan.

Since Jessica is not updating her blog. I sunk over to some of her friends blogs and got some pictures of her. It looks like she is having the time of her life! I wish I would of done something like that back in my single days! Just a side note, but doesn't that guy she is in a few of the pictures with look a lot like Adam! He is the one I got all the pictures from! She said that when she first met him she asked if he was related to any Cottams! Funny!
