Rafting the White Salmon River
Becky, Mom, Dad, Adam and I along with our guide ZaK!
Little did we know that this was just a few miles down the river! Class 4 rapid!
We were completely submerged under water for a few seconds. Adam and I were in the front so we were down there the longest!
That was definitely on of the craziest rafting trips I have ever taken. There was a lot of big rapids and technical maneuvers we had to pull. The rafting place we went through was awesome! Zollers was really well orginized and came with all the gear you needed. Notice how we were all whereing matching wet suits! There is nothing cuter then trying the shove yourself in a skin tight wet suit! As a side note we had a celiberity in our rafting group! Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Elaine Benes from Seinfeld) was there with her family on a family reunion of sorts. She is a lot shorter then I thought! I was really funny when we had gone down the big waterfall rapid we were hanging out watching the other people go down the rapids and a lady in Julias boat fell out and our guide started yelling "Elaine fell out of the boat, Elaine is out of the boat." We were all dieing laughing!

Google Maps new feature
Yesterday Adam told me about a new feature that they have on Google maps. The new feature is called street view. The feature allows you to have a real view of an area of interest. For example, I typed in my work address and clicked on street view. When the picture comes up you can do a full 360 turn. When I turned the image to face directly at my office, there was a picture of me standing outside the office, talking to my co-workers boyfriend. It look like it was last summer they took the pictures. My theory is that they had a van driving around that was taking 360 pictures once every few seconds. Check out this link, type in 7304 SE Milwaukie ave, Portland, OR 97202. then once you pull up the street view, pan to the right, that is me in the pink skirt. Very futuristic!!

How cute are we!
With all of this wedding business wraped up, it has made me think a lot about my own wedding! I had fun planning and getting things ready for our big day. I told Adam that we need to get married again so that I can buy another dress and plan another party. Needless to say Adam was not too excited about that! We will be married 2 years on March 18th. I still can't believe what an amazing man I snaged!

Cookies Please.

Adam and I went the the grocery store last night to get some ready to bake cookies. When we got up to the check out line we noticed that the package was already open. Adam offered to run back and get another pack, but the casher said that he would call someone to get it. So he picked up the phone and did an over head announcement " Can I get a Pillsbury read to bake, Big Deluxe, Triple chocolate indulgence cookies to aisle 7. I repeat, Pillsbury ready to bake, Big Deluxe, Triple chocolate indulgence cookies to aisle 7. Adam and I were both laughing so hard, along with the other people in the lane. It was a little embarrassing, but what can you do! :)

Night on fire.
Last night was exciting! I put something in the oven and a few minutes later i heard a popping sound. When I went to investigate I found the oven on fire. I screamed out on instance and called for Adam to help me. I opened the oven and fire went shooting out. I finally got my head together and turned off the power on the oven and the flames slowly died down. I am now realizing the importance of having a fire extinguisher handy. Our place if fine except for the smell of burnt metal. I think something else that needs to go on the new years resolution list is finally putting together our 72 hour kit, because you just never know when you could accidental burn down your home!:) On the up side I think me might get a new stove! Yea!

The Edge
Every day I open the newspaper at work and read in the Edge. The Edge is a collum about silly people who do silly things. In today's paper they re caped the funniest people of 2007.
I was laughing so hard at some of these I just had to share.
Doofus du Year:
Daniel Brown, 22 of Hartseile, Al., Who wore a ski mask to hide his identity when he staged a home invasion robbery at his grandfathers house in January but blew his cover when he burst in, yelling: "I need your money and I mean it Papa!"
Court appearance of the year:
In Modesto. Ca, Josh Moreno, attempting to get a judge to lift a restraining order, went to court disguised as his wife, wearing a dress, high heels, red lipstick and a long black wig and spoke in a falsetto high-pitched voice. The judge was not fooled and Moreno was arrested.
Quote of the Year:
"Nobody tells the Wookiee what to do"
-Chewbacca impersonator arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly head butting a Hollywood tour guide.
