Mirror Mirror on the wall

I absolutely love this mirror. Ever since I saw this mirror while I was on a tour or my sister's in-laws new guest suites (Elan Guest Suites) a year ago, I have been trying to figure out a way to make it myself! I have seen this same mirror going for 400.00 and up. I certainly can't justify spend 400 on a mirror but I want it really bad! Anyone know how to make a mirror?

Shade Clothing

I am totally in love with the new fall line from Shade Clothing. I just can't resist buying cute things from them! Plus my friend Jen sells shade so I get her personal shopper discount. Her Personal shopper code is HED25278: Feel free to use it to get your discount!

Here are the Items I picked up recently! I love how they look on me! And the best part is, the shirts are all made longer, so you don't have to worry about your belly making a surprise appearance!

Halloween Party

Last night Adam and I went to a friends Halloween party. It was good fun! I only wish Adam and I got our acts together sooner and found costumes!

Steve & Lulu (Gomez & Mortisha)

Chris & Erika (Baby and Nanny)

There are no pictures of us because we didn't dress up. We felt really sad not dressing up at a Halloween party, but we really did try. We went to 4 different places looking for costumes, but every one was out of the ones we wanted. We did come across quite a few funny costumes though. Here are some of the funnier ones I found!

I Love the Idea of couple Halloween costumes! Maybe next year Adam and I will get our act together and get one of these costumes!

Trick or Teat.

I love to play tricks on Adam. I play all kinds of tricks on him, but my favorite ones are when I get him nice and scared! Tonight I came home from work with a fake plastic spider. I immediately went over to Adam with my hands cupped around the spider. I said "Sweetie I caught this in my car and now I'm afraid to open my hands, because I don't want it to get out". This really sparked his attention. I played it up a little more acting like I was really scared. Finally he said the magic words "let me see it". I open up my hands and shook the fake plastic spider in his face and let out a little scream. That really did it! I had Adam screaming like a little girl! It was great!! Man I love playing tricks on him! I felt bad after words so I gave him a a bag of candy as a treat! :) Happy Halloween!

The Biggest Loser.

I love the biggest loser! I have been watching the show every week, and each time i watch it gets me pumped up for my own "Loser" program. It's not just about losing weight, it's about having a goal and doing everything in your power to meet it! This is something I really need to work on. I have such good intentions, but when the rubber meets the road I get a little distracted. I just have to do it! Just do it!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Curtis Nelson Folsom
I have learned so much from my Dad over the years. He is always quick to smile and laugh. Growing up we always knew where he was by his laugh. He has the most jolly Santa laugh I have ever heard!
My dad always gives advice that makes you think! He knows that we will always do the right thing if just given the chance.

My dad knows a little bit about everything. He just keeps getting smarter as he get older! Hopefully he can pass on a little of his wisdom to me!

Love you lots Daddy! Happy Birthday!

We are going to Spain!

Adams Parent have agreed to let us tag along with them on a trip to Spain. If all goes as planned we will be over in the Costa Del Sol (the lower Mediterranean part of Spain) the second week in November. I am so excited I have never been over seas so this will be a whole new experience for me. Lucky we Have a built in translator. I know Adams Spanish was going to come in handy one day!

This takes the cake

As most of you know I work for an Insurance company. I am always coming home and telling Adam about the funny things that people do, but today really took the cake! A sweet little old Lady came in to our office because she had gotten in an accident and totaled her car. Well the insurance company wrote her a check for her car and she came to sign paper work and get the check. During the course of all the paper signing I asked her for the key to her old car. She looked very confused and asked me why she had to give up her keys. I told her that since the insurance company gave her a check for her car the car now belonged to the Insurance company. She looked even more confused but dug around in her purse and gave me her keys. She then got up with her check and left the office. As I was getting ready to send the paperwork up to our regional office I took the keys out of the envelope and noticed that she had given me the keys to the new car she just bought. I called her right away, and we had a good laugh about it. She told me that since she did not have her keys she walked home and left her car in our parking lot. I can only imagine what she was thinking on the walk home, like how she was going to explain this to her husband, that she had left with a car and came back with out one.

It's funny how you can say one thing to someone ,but they think you mean something else entirely. I thing I will have to be a little more careful next time and make sure I don't trick any more cute little old ladies out of there cars! :)

New face of America.

Ever since this Time Magazine cover came out in 1993 I have been totally fascinated with it. On the Cover is a woman who is a mix of several races. Just imagine what it will be like in the year 3000 when there will be such a thin line between races. I wish I could be around to see it.
